Back in the Bloggin' again!
Hi All!! I'm finally online again... it's soo hard to find time lately to do anything other than the absolute necessary... i'm enrolled in two online college courses, working full time, being a t-ball momma and much much more. :) Payton played his 2nd to last t-ball game tonight, with about 5 other teammates, i'm guessing in the summertime everyone else has better things to do.. they played the Regulators, pretty cute stuff... i'll post pics sometime soon. We're busy trying to do last minute birthday party preparing, since his is tomorrow night at 5. I'm excited for his backyard bug safari! WOOHOO!!

The Fish
Payton decided this week that he would like to have a fish as a pet. I have been researching all week long small aquariums for him and the size of them along with price. Friday when I got off of work, I went to Petsmart and found the perfect 2 gallon aquarium for him, and a cute little goldfish to go along with it. Our poor fish had some troubles though, my niece and Payton were so glad to see it that of course they grabbed the bag with our new fish in it, and accidentally dropped him in the floor from about 31/2 feet off of the ground. I took the fish into Payton's room and began setting up the tank. After everything was set up and the fish had been acclimated to the water, we let him out into his new house. : ) Payton of course, had to be the first one to feed his new fish, which he debated on naming 'Ball' or 'Zooma' or 'Norm'... I personally like 'Norm', he decided on 'Ball'. Last night after we made a trip to town and came back, Payton went in to check on "Ball" and said mommy come here, my fish isn't swimming! Oh NO.... I felt horrible, I already knew his poor fish had probably went to fishy heaven. I scooped him out of his aquarium and into a disposable cup and tried to feed it, to see if it was still alive... it was not. So I promised Payton that I would buy him a new fish today, even contemplated going last night while he was asleep to find him a new fish at our local Wal-Mart. Today after church my mother and I visited Petland where the employees there were incredibly friendly and helpful, made extra effort to make sure we were satisfied with our visit and that we got exactly what we wanted. I purchased 6 Tetras and a submersible water heater for the aquarium. Payton was so happy to see them all today and we went through lots extra effort to insure their safety and long livelihood. I am sure Payton will make a great fishy parent with lots of help from his momma and mimi. :)

For my baby boy
Here in the past couple of weeks our family has been so busy! Even though I have seen Payton everyday, it is easy for me as a parent to feel guilty... like I haven't seen him enough,played with him enough, talked to him enough. He begs me not to go to work, and yet everyday I do. :) Just want him to know his mommy loves him more than anything!
Payton is perfect in all ways..
God's Masterpiece
From graceful lilies pure and white,
God fashioned lovely skin,
Forget-me-no-ts he chose for eyes,
Then formed your baby chin.
He took a tulip bright and red --
Twas one that did not fade; A
softer, sweeter little mouth
Before was never made.
Another flower next He used --
A rosebud, pink and fair;
Touched it to your dimpled cheeks
And bade it blossom there.
Then with His magic fingers picked
Two morning glories white;
Curled and shaped your little ears,
Soon they were fastened tight.
That crowning bit of golden down
Will soon become your hair;
He gathered pollen from the flowers,
And sprinkled it with care.
For dainty little fingers dear
And precious, tiny toes,
He used slender daisy frills;
A snowdrop made your nose.
This world and all within it
He created here for man;
But Baby was "God's Masterpiece"
Since time and life began!

Game 2: Rangers V. Lil' Gators
Game 2 of Payton's t-ball team the Rangers was yesterday, against the Lil' Gators. They had such a good time! Payton is really beginning to love his team.. and understand sportsmanship.. last night as he was laying down to sleep he told me his favorite part of the game was high-fiving the Gators after the game was over. :) I'm so proud of him! I Love my Payton Lane!

Keys to life
Everywhere I look there is someone who is bothered, upset about the world around them... mad or anxious about something coming up.. here are some of my ways of to enjoy life to the fullest.
1.) Stop Worrying -
most of the time worrying doesn't do you a bit of good.. you just beat yourself up for no good reason and have a bad day in the process. Hand your troubles over to the Lord and he will take care of them.
2.) Laugh -
Laughter really is a great medicine. It is so awesome to have had a rough day and be able to just laugh and have fun talking to a friend on the phone.. or even a text message will sometimes do. :) I've found America's Funniest Home Videos works great, LOVE that show!!

3.) Bubble Bath and the Radio -

Run some nice warm water in the bath tub add some of your favorite smelling bubbles .... maybe pour a glass of wine if you've had a REALLY rough day(and can uncork a bottle of wine :) unlike those of us who blog and don't know how!! ) hahaha, turn on some soft music.. and just relax!! It's amazing how much better you'll feel once you're thoroughly relaxed..
4.) Get a Massage -
If the above aren't working well in your favor to lighten your mood and forget your worrying, I suggest a massage. I've had two, a deep tissue massage and a Swedish massage, they are awesome.. for an hour you don't have to think about anything but yourself, and how awesome it is to be pampered for a little bit. <3 Some spas even offer massages on your lunch hour.. they run 1/2 hour long and are about $40.00!

5.) Plan an event... even if it is something small... something to look forward to, to make your days ahead a little brighter. I've found that your life is happy when you look for the positives in your life and not everything that is going wrong.. or seems to be going wrong. I think that is where I differ from lots of the world... is I am very much an optimist... everything will be ok!!!
Have a happy night!!
