For my baby boy

Here in the past couple of weeks our family has been so busy!  Even though I have seen Payton everyday, it is easy for me as a parent to feel guilty... like I haven't seen him enough,played with him enough, talked to him enough.  He begs me not to go to work, and yet everyday I do. :)  Just want him to know his mommy loves him more than anything!
 Payton is perfect in all ways..

God's Masterpiece

From graceful lilies pure and white,
God fashioned lovely skin,
Forget-me-no-ts he chose for eyes,
Then formed your baby chin.
He took a tulip bright and red --
Twas one that did not fade; A
softer, sweeter little mouth
Before was never made.
Another flower next He used --
A rosebud, pink and fair;
Touched it to your dimpled cheeks
And bade it blossom there.
Then with His magic fingers picked
Two morning glories white;
Curled and shaped your little ears,
Soon they were fastened tight.
That crowning bit of golden down
Will soon become your hair;
He gathered pollen from the flowers,
And sprinkled it with care.
For dainty little fingers dear
And precious, tiny toes,
He used slender daisy frills;
A snowdrop made your nose.
This world and all within it
He created here for man;
But Baby was "God's Masterpiece"
Since time and life began!

Game 2: Rangers V. Lil' Gators

Game 2 of Payton's t-ball team the Rangers was yesterday, against the Lil' Gators. They had such a good time!  Payton is really beginning to love his team.. and understand sportsmanship.. last night as he was laying down to sleep he told me his favorite part of the game was high-fiving the Gators after the game was over. :) I'm so proud of him!  I Love my Payton Lane!

Keys to life

Everywhere I look there is someone who is bothered, upset about the world around them... mad or anxious about something coming up.. here are some of my ways of to enjoy life to the fullest.

1.) Stop Worrying -
 most of the time worrying doesn't do you a bit of good.. you just beat yourself up for no good reason and have a bad day in the process.  Hand your troubles over to the Lord and he will take care of them.

2.)  Laugh -
Laughter really is a great medicine.  It is so awesome to have had a rough day and be able to just laugh and have fun talking to a friend on the phone.. or even a text message will sometimes do. :) I've found America's Funniest Home Videos works great, LOVE that show!!

3.) Bubble Bath and the Radio -

 Run some nice warm water in the bath tub add some of your favorite smelling bubbles .... maybe pour a glass of wine if you've had a REALLY rough day(and can uncork a bottle of wine :) unlike those of us who blog and don't know how!! ) hahaha, turn on some soft music.. and just relax!! It's amazing how much better you'll feel once you're thoroughly relaxed..

4.)  Get a Massage -
 If the above aren't working well in your favor to lighten your mood and forget your worrying, I suggest a massage.  I've had two, a deep tissue massage and a Swedish massage, they are awesome.. for an hour you don't have to think about anything but yourself, and how awesome it is to be pampered for a little bit. <3  Some spas even offer massages on your lunch hour.. they run 1/2 hour long and are about $40.00!

5.) Plan an event... even if it is something small... something to look forward to, to make your days ahead a little brighter.  I've found that your life is happy when you look for the positives in your life and not everything that is going wrong.. or seems to be going wrong.  I think that is where I differ from lots of the world... is I am very much an optimist... everything will be ok!!!

Have a happy night!!

Rangers Vs. Small Fries - Game 1

Yesterday was Payton's first t-ball game.  We left the house yesterday around 4pm, as we had to run by Wal-mart pick up batteries for the camera, snacks and drinks for the kids and so on and so forth...

Payton's cheering section before everyone got there
We decided on waters, Gatorades and Capris Suns for the drink and Welch's Fruit Snacks, Goldfish, and sugar cookies for the snacks.  Then we went and bought ten little colored paper sacks, in red and blue.. to match Payton's team the Ranger's colors. We also bought packages of stickers that were baseballs.

We got to the ball field around 5:30. When we got to the ballpark, we packaged the snacks, and put one baseball on each sack.   Then we started unloading my car! Haha I'm sure that took close to the whole half hour we had left... until game time. :)  We had 8 folding chairs, a cooler... a bat.glove, helmet,a baby boy, a baby girl, and a sack full of snack bags.

My SWEET baby boy

#1 batter

Payton's team the Rangers played the Small Fries. Both teams started with a little practice catching and throwing.  When they started playing the fun began.  The little boys and girls were so cute, they were full of smiles... they all had their moments of confusion where they'd run the wrong direction, lay down in the middle of the baseball field... kick dirt.

This picture cracks me up... the ball's coming and all the kids are running different diretions! : )

 My most favorite to watch was Payton running as fast as he could after the ball, then tackling anyone else that might have  a finger on the ball before he did... lol I think maybe we'll look into football in the Fall.  Fun was had by all, and in true T-ball fashion, i'm sure the teams tied... and then the kids formed two lines and shook hands with each other! Super Adorable!

I can't wait until the next game, week after next And all of the fun ! ! !

Still happy !

Good Tuesday lunch time to ya!  It is such a beautiful day, well minus the wind.
 I missed my sweet baby boy while I was at work...
I'm so happy I got to come home to him and my sweet niece .
 After she went back home I played Hide and Seek with Payton, we had such a good time..
 then it was time to take a bath and read 'Tumbleweed Stew'.
That's a cute book by the way!
 I'm also extremely happy to have had  a good day at work and now a good night. ;)
 I have lots to do, guess I better sign off of here and get to it.
There's always Clothes to put up , toys to pick up, laundry to sort...

Happy Tuesday all!!!
